Tamara Skov received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of California at Davis. She has worked extensively in non-profit management and charitable gift planning, balancing the mission of the non-profit with the needs and interests of donors. She has also managed the employee ethics program for a Fortune 500 healthcare company providing training on confidentiality and medical decision-making. Additionally, she held a realtor’s license for several years specializing in the needs of senior clients to age gracefully, helping them explore alternatives of aging in place, relocating near family, or moving to retirement communities.
Tamara’s interest in being a fiduciary developed from first-hand experience when she began helping her mother manage her affairs following the death of Tamara’s father. This experience has given her a keen understanding of the nuances of balancing the preservation of the estate, maintaining a lifestyle, and planning for potential future needs. She is passionate about assisting individuals in organizing their affairs and implementing their plans. She recently received her professional fiduciary license and joined the team here at Quinn.
On a personal level, Tamara lived in Germany and throughout the US before settling in Santa Barbara. She loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
