About Amy E. MacLeod

Amy is responsible for managing clients' investment portfolios, assisting clients with their estate planning and wealth transfer strategies, and providing clients with philanthropic guidance, including helping clients create charitable giving strategies and assisting with the governance and administration of family foundations. Amy further provides guidance on values-based and impact investing strategies. Prior to joining Manchester Capital, Amy practiced law, and she is a member of the State Bars of California and Colorado. Amy received her J.D. and M.B.A. from The University of Chicago, and she received her A.B. in Economics from Princeton University. Amy lives in Santa Barbara with her husband, Don, and enjoys a variety of community and athletic activities. She is on the board of the Lobero Theatre Foundation, where she currently serves as Vice President. In college, she served as President of the Princeton Women's Rugby Football Club, and was selected to the All-America team after Princeton won the national collegiate championship in 1996. Today, Amy enjoys hiking, cycling, volleyball, and alpine skiing. Amy's Santa Barbara County roots go back five generations to the 1860s, when her great-great grandparents, Patrick and Nora Kinevan, ran a stagecoach stop and ranch along the stagecoach line that ran from the Santa Ynez Valley to Santa Barbara.
